Sport Boot Camp For Teenage Athletes This 8 week boot camp is designed for teenage athletes as a great way to enhance their fitness and conditioning levels during the off season. There will be 2 classes per week with cardio, plyometrics and resistance training. The teenage athletes will participate in cardio kickboxing (with gloves and bags) as their cardio training. Resistance training will be peformed with two handled medicine balls, balance balls and resistance bands along with plyometric exercises and drills. Stretching techniques and core strenthening will be emphasized in every class throughout the 8 weeks. For an additional fee, student athletes and their parents will have an opportunity to take part in a college preparation class to learn NCAA guidelines on initial and continuing eligibility and will also receive tips on how to make the transition from high school to college less traumatic. This class will be led by Sandy Hafner who has 8 years experience as Director of Academics for student athletes at the Division 1 level.
